Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide a scientific study of interpersonal communication and an understanding of the effects of the communication on our daily lives as well as building effective communication skills in professional applications in the field of psychology. Communication skills occupy a significant place in regards with the quality of our daily lives. Furthermore, they are of vital importance for all professions involving dealing with humans to serve the customers in best possible ways. In this regard, the main purpose of this course is not providing attendees solely with theoretical knowledge but with communication skills to be used in their working life.

Course Content

Topics will be covered by the lecturer, and the students are expected to share their views and will be encouraged to approach critically towards the topics. The content of the course is structured in accordance with the needs of the students as well as scientific developments. The exams will cover both the reading texts and the discussions held in the classroom.
