Course Objective

The history of sports psychology in Turkey is very short. It is aimed to increase the knowledge, skills and competencies of the related students in the field of sports psychology which is newly developing in our country.

Course Content

The practice of sports psychology focuses heavily on the success of achieving the highest performance. Accordingly, the aim of this course is to examine in detail the psychological theories and skills of peak performance in the framework of the cognitive-behavioral approach.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. The students can define concepts related to sport psychology field.
  2. The students evaluate advanced knowledge and skills in sports psychology with a critical approach.
  3. The students express applied and ethical issues in sport psychology.
