Course Objective
The course aims that students learn basic principles of public administration and its functions
Course Content
The course emphasizes on the conceptual infrastructure and terms for public administration. It provides an introductory survey to,
- analyze all theories and practices developed in the administrative field,
- present universal principles of administrative science,
- explain the emergence and development of public administration as a discipline, and describe differences between public and private management affairs,
- give a particular examination of administrative structures in various countries specially at continental and Anglo-Saxon administrative mentality.
In addition, the course aims to evaluate the new public management principles appeared since the early 1980s in the developed countries.
