Course Objective
Disabed people with social work Courses, the basic concepts of students enrolled in engellikl, theoretical approaches to disability in the world and Turkey, disabled groups, the factors that led to the emergence of disability, engellikl with the relevant national and international regulations, disability of the individual, their impact on the family and society The aim of this course is to learn the sectors that serve disabled people and social service applications for disabled people and to be able to draw conclusions by analyzing and synthesizing these issues.
Course Content
conceptual framework for disability, classification of disability, social service intervention for disability, modern service models for the disabled, disability and state policy, social attitudes towards persons with disabilities.

- Knows the distribution of disabled people in society
- To learn the national and international legislation related to the disabled, • To know the services provided to the disabled and their families,
- • Have knowledge about social work intervention for the disabled, • Have detailed information about medical, vocational and social rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
