Course Objective

To teach nutritional relationship in Gastrointestinal system and other important system diseases in Turkey, To evaluate the effect of environmental factors and nutrition and to teach the differences of nutritional habits of the country

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Ethiology and Place of Treatment in Nutrition
  2. Investigate economic, political, social and geographic reasons affecting nutrition.
  3. Evaluates the basic characteristics of the society and the family in which they live.
  4. The Impact of Environmental Factors and Nutritional Habits on the Development of Diseases
  5. Realizes the effect of religions on nutrition.
  6. Gains the ability to interpret the changes in socio-economic factors to the dietary habits in pre-historic and post-historical periods.
