Course Objective

To provide students with the ability to design spaces suitable for environmental ecology and equipped with the latest technologies by working with different disciplines in smart building designs.

Course Content

The content of the course covers the concept of smart building and domestic-foreign examples, contemporary and technological building automations such as lighting, alarm, central ventilation-heating-cooling, telecommunication systems, the relationship of smart buildings with environmental ecology, and energy systems and efficiency.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Defines the concept of smart building design.
  2. Explain the building automation system in smart buildings.
  3. Develops systems suitable for environmental ecology in smart building design.
  4. It takes part in projects that are compatible with environmental ecology and equipped with the latest technologies, together with different disciplines in smart building design.
  5. Materials used in smart buildings and developments in space design
