Course Objective
Furniture Design-I is the continuation of this course: The aim of this course is to provide students with the basic principles of furniture design principles, production, concept and form production, human furniture relation, functionality, structure and detail, alternative materials that make up furniture, physical, ergonomic, psychological, economic and social factors information about the process.
Course Content
Recognition of a piece of furniture design; form production, human factor, safety, robustness, harmonic conceptual approach to material and anthropometric giving, classification of furniture, furniture as a landscaping regulator, creation of furniture decoration systems in the context of interior functionality, furniture drawing methods, furniture production methods, detailing for application. Studio studies , development process of furniture design, functioning, form and structure, production techniques.

Explanations
Weekly applications will be one midterm and one final exam. 1. Weekly classroom practices will be collected at the end of the course and will be given back the next week as proofread. 2. Exam dates are as if they were posted on tablature. The topics of the examinations will be announced before a reasonable time. Compensation examinations will be given for examinations that are not entered in the framework of excuses accepted according to the regulations. 3. The final exam covers the topics covered in the whole semester. The final exam day, time and place will be announced by the Deanery.
Rules
1. Attendance: According to the regulations, if a student does not attend 30% of the total course hours, dersten absenteeism (DZ) fails. 2. Late arrivals: The class is expected not only to arrive but to attend classes on time. Remember that 3 lessons will be counted as 1 full absence. Late arrivals are defined as follows: The lecturer will take class polling and attend class after the first 10 minutes of class 3. Getting help: It is important for your education to ask questions about the class during the class or during the class hours and to find out what time it is. We advise our students to get help if necessary. 4. Academic honesty: It is expected that you will have your own endeavors and your work in studies that will be subject to note of the course. In non-moral situations, such as plagiarism or copying, you will be subject to disciplinary action and necessary criminal sanctions as required by the relevant regulation of the IZU 5. The assessments set forth in this footnote are fixed and no extra compensation measurements for grading will be made.
