Course Objective

Aim of the course is to provide students with an introduction to the language, logic, and
arithmetic of numerical methods used in engineering, as well as an opportunity to discover
how numerical analyses can be applied to a variety of important problems in research,
industry, and society.

2 Solving System of Linear Equations (Direct Methods)
3 Solving System of Linear Equations (Indirect-Approximation Methods)
4 Root Finding (Bisection, Fixed Point and Newton Raphson Iteration Methods)
5 Lagrange Interpolation, Newton Interpolation
6 Numerical Differentiation
7 Numerical Integration
8 Numerical Solutions of Ordinary Differential Equations
