Course Objective

This course aims to provide a broad overview of materials science, including atomic structures and various material properties.

Course Content

This course introduces key concepts and properties in materials science, covering atomic structures, mechanical, thermal, optical, electrical, and magnetic properties, along with advanced topics in the field.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Gain an understanding of atomic bonds, crystal structures, and defects in materials.
  2. Gain an understanding of mechanical, thermal, optical, electrical, and magnetic properties of materials.
  3. Gain an understanding of advanced materials used in electrical and electronic devices.
