Course Objective
To be able to establish the relationship between science, physics, science and technology, to explain the basic concepts of physics, to associate these concepts with daily life. The aim of this course is to educate prospective teachers about problem solving, critical thinking, educating individuals who can look at science from a skeptical point of view.
Course Content
The subject and principles of natural/science sciences, the basic concepts of science, the place of science among other sciences, its historical development, the aims of science teaching, the content of the primary school curriculum.
General information about science subjects, their characteristics, their equivalents in daily life and their usage
