Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach pre-service teachers to gain positive behaviors in the classroom environment and to learn and apply the necessary strategies for correcting negative behaviors.
Course Content
Identifying and identifying positive and negative behaviors in children; learning techniques to support positive behaviors and to put out negative behaviors; teacher and parent attitudes in behavior management; organization of home and school environments for behavior management; developing and evaluating examples of problem behaviors.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Knows the behavioral characteristics of preschool children.
- Makes an individual behavior analysis in preschool children.
- Use positive behavior development strategies, methods and techniques.
- Uses strategies, methods and techniques to extinguish negative behaviors and replace them with positive ones.
- The problem seen in the classroom develops an application plan for managing behaviors.
