Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide knowledge about the theological, theoretical, and practical foundations of spiritual guidance services. It seeks to equip students with an understanding of the historical development of spiritual guidance, the theories and approaches utilized within these services, and the ability to appropriately apply theological content in the context of classical and contemporary theological thought, changing conditions, and case studies.
Course Content
Basic concepts and history of spiritual counseling; psychological counseling theories and spirituality; cultural foundations of spiritual counseling; religious traditions, beliefs and spiritual counseling; spiritual counseling competencies; measurement in spiritual counseling; spiritual counseling techniques; corporate spiritual counseling; spiritual counseling practice; ethics in spiritual counseling.

Rules
Academic Integrity Policy: Academic honesty; It includes elements such as cheating, using or buying ready-made assignments or written materials, academic plagiarism (using someone else's thought, opinion, invention or work in an assignment, project, report and similar studies by presenting it as one's own without citing the source). When such situations are detected, they may cause the student to be deemed unsuccessful and to be expelled from the university at a further level.
Attendance: Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation Article 21 – (1) Students at the university; are required to attend 70% of theoretical courses and 80% of applied courses in one semester. Each instructor checks the obligation to attend classes according to these principles.
