Course Objective

This course will be structured as a continuation of Developmental Psychology 1 course, and adolescence, young adulthood, middle adulthood and old age periods will be handled physically, cognitively and socio-emotionally. In the course, all developmental stages will be presented from the perspective of lifelong learning and intergenerational studies.

Course Content

The content of this course consists of the developmental characteristics of adolescence, young and middle adulthood, and old age.

Rules

Expectations: Students are expected to read the article / book chapters of that day, be prepared for the lesson, follow the lesson regularly, participate actively.  

 

Attendance to the Course: Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation
Article 21 - (1) Students at the University; In one semester, they are obliged to attend theoretical courses 70% and applied courses 80%. Each instructor checks the compulsory attendance according to these principles.

 

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Establishes a connection between the basic concepts and principles of the individual's development and development process.
  2. Becomes aware of problems that occur during development.
