Course Objective
This course aims to enable students to absorb the grammatical and contextual differences of the source and target languages, to easily translate simple and complex sentence structures, and short texts in various fields.
Course Content
The student learns the different points between the simple and complex sentences in Turkish and Arabic, and he learns and applies the points that need to be considered in the translation from the native language to the target language. The student learns different translation techniques for the same sentence. The student makes translations of short texts on different topics. Analyzes YDS Arabic translation questions.Required Resources

Explanations
In the Total Evaluation, 40% of Midterm Exam results, 10% of Homework and 50% of Final Exam results will be evaluated.
The homework score will be determined according to the weekly preparatory activities and participation in the activities in the classroom.
Rules
The attendance of the student should be at least 70%. The student should come to the lesson by doing the pre-preparation homework.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Student learns techniques to translate the same sentence differently
- The student identifies the differences between Turkish and Arabic in terms of sentence structure and context, and understands the points to be considered in translation.
- The student can easily translate simple and complex sentence structures from the native language to the target language.
