Course Objective
The aim of this course is to examine international trade theory and politics, international finance and capital markets, trade liberalization, economic groupings, standard delivery and payment forms used in foreign trade.
Course Content
This course will provide students with an opportunity to discuss and analyze in a detailed way the main issues related to international trade. Topics include foreign trade theories, comparative and absolute theories of the merits, trade subsidies, tariffs, non-tariff quotas, regional regulations and economic integrations. In addition, import and export issues include the delivery and payment forms used when these transactions are carried out and the importance of foreign trade in terms of the country's economy.

Course Learning Outcomes

- •develop a comprehensive framework for analyzing problems centered on international trade,

- •evaluate international trade under a theoretical point of view,
- European Union and Turkey and having knowledge about customs union, its importance and its problems
- The liberation of world trade and the contribution of the GATT and the WTO
- Be informed about import and export and related procedures
- To be able to play an effective role in solving the problems in the field of logistics.
- To be able to contribute to improving the performance of the logistics organization
- To be able to define the basic concepts related to Logistics Management.
- Being able to understand basic principles of transportation and warehouse management.
- Have knowledge about international trade theory and politics
- Grouping in international trade and knowing how they work
- Learn payment and delivery terms in international trade
