Course Objective

The main objective of the course is to provide students with general information about international trade and finance, to explain the historical development and importance of foreign trade, to introduce the parties to foreign trade, to teach the risks, advantages and disadvantages. In addition, information about the documents used in foreign trade, delivery methods and payment methods will be given to the students in order to create a basic infrastructure. Information on customs clearance and transportation in foreign trade is also included in the course content.

Course Content

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles, theories, and practices of international trade and finance. It explores the fundamental reasons for trade between nations, the benefits and challenges associated with globalization, and the functioning of international financial markets. Students will examine key concepts such as comparative advantage, trade policy instruments, balance of payments, exchange rate systems, and the role of international institutions.
