Dersin Amacı
Bu dersin amacı, öğretmen adaylarının yabancı dil öğretiminde drama ve TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) yönteminin temel ilkelerini ve uygulama esaslarını öğrenmelerini sağlamaktır. Ders kapsamında öğrencilerin; TPRS'nin temel tekniklerini tanımaları, hikâye anlatımı, jest, mimik, doğaçlama ve sınıf içi etkileşim yoluyla hedef dili öğretme becerilerini geliştirmeleri ve öğrendikleri teknikleri farklı yaş ve dil düzeylerindeki öğrencilere yönelik drama etkinliklerinde uygulayabilmeleri amaçlanmaktadır.

Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları
- TPRS yaklaşımının temel ilkelerini, aşamalarını ve yabancı dil öğretimindeki rolünü açıklayabilir.
- TPRS'de kullanılan hikâye anlatımı, soru-cevap, jest-mimik, tekrar ve anlaşılır girdi gibi temel teknikleri tanımlayabilir ve örneklendirebilir.
- Farklı yaş ve dil düzeylerine uygun TPRS temelli drama etkinlikleri ve kısa hikâyeler tasarlayabilir.
- TPRS tekniklerini kullanarak hedef dili etkileşim, doğaçlama, hikâye anlatımı ve dramatizasyon yoluyla öğretebilir ve uygulamasını değerlendirebilir.
