Dersin Amacı
Bu derste, öğrencilerin çocukluk döneminin genel özelliklerini ve problematiklerini bilmesi hedeflenmektedir. Öğrencilerle normal çocuk gelişimi basamakları öncelikle anlatılacaktır. Aynı zamanda öğrencilerin bu döneme özgü ortaya çıkabilecek olan psikopatolojiler hakkında genel bilgi sahibi olmaları amaçlanmaktadır.

Kurallar
Attendance and participation are mandatory in this class. If you miss a class due to a university organization or a professional vocation related organization etc. you have to show me or TA the evidence. If you are sick, you must show me or TA your medical report indicating your situation. It is your responsibility to catch up with the material you miss. I will not provide you additional opportunities.
Child Psychopathology is an important subject for your psychology major degree. Thus, it is important for me to make sure that you show necessary dedication for your professional development. Regrettably, it is not possible for me to know your intentions and investments to your own development in the field of psychology individually. That’s why I have to track your class participations, your attendance, and your interest through the questions you ask and comments you make.
Making long story short, if you miss more than 4 class that means a direct F (it is obligatory to attend %70 of the classes, not my decision, it is a rule).

- Çocuk psikopatolojisinin gelişimsel bir perspektiften ele alınması
- Bazı çocukların neden atipik geliştiğini anlamak
- Patolojinin gelişiminde ailelerin ve bakıcıların rollerinin öğrenilmesi
- Risk faktörleri ve dayanıklılık gibi kavramların ve belirli sonuçların erken göstergelerinin öğrenilmesi
- Bu rahatsızlıkların önlenmesi ve ortaya çıkması halinde tedavi edilmesi konusunda bilgi sahibi olmak.
